I-Car Certified Body Specialist/Refinish Tech

   SUMMARY

Tim Beaulieu is our extremely versatile auto restoration technician. Although his main focus is bodywork and paint, Tim has stepped up to the plate by taking on many of the interior and mechanical tasks needed to complete a project. Since he has joined the E-Muscle elite team, Tim has transformed our 1978 Bronco and 1972 Corvette projects into works of art. His eye for detail and meticulous work ethic has brought our Autobody department to a whole new level of quality.   

 EXPERIENCE

Tim has over 20 years experience in this industry. The majority of his time has been in professional car dealerships, managing the Collision and Paint Departments.

INDUSTRY TRAINING/EDUCATION

Attended T.C.I. technical school but most of his experience comes from years of on the job training. Tim is I-Car certified in Plastic Repair, Advanced Vehicle Systems, I-Car’s 8 part Collision Repair Course and I-Car/Cart Aluminum Repair and Welding. He is also certified in Dupont, Duramix, Lord Fusor and PPG.

PAST RESTORATION PROJECTS

Tim has performed complete restorations of the following vehicles: 1966 Plymouth Belvedere, 1970 Mercedes Benz, 1969 El Camino, 1970 Maverick, 1968 Camaro, 1940-41 Willy’s Streetrods (steel bodies) and a Toyota Low Rider Pickup Truck.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE E-MUSCLE TEAM?

“I was tired of the collision industry and wanted to get more involved with the design and building of specialty vehicles and utilize the skills I have acquired over the years. When restoring cars you have the chance to showcase your attention to detail and professional experience working on a car that will be appreciated and driven by people who love the muscle car industry.”

WHAT IS THE CRAZIEST THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE IN A MUSCLE CAR?

“ I once jumped an Olds Starfire over a street from a hill to the other side. My female passenger left her foot prints on my headliner!”
